BRIEF HISTORY
Alpha Verve was established on 25 February 2005 by Alina as the first NUS cheerleading squad. Initially under the Youth Development Group (YDG), we broke away from it and became a part of teamNUS on 9 September 2005. Under the guidance of our coaches and seniors, we took part in numerous national competitions since 2006. We have also been participating in performances (both external and internal events) and workshops to improve ourselves and promote cheerleading in the university and the local scene.

LOGO
The 'A' and 'V' are positioned in a diamond shape without sharp tips, symbolising that we are as yet unpolished jewels, with the potential to develop and shine. The increasing size of the stars represents our determination to improve ourselves progressively. Finally, the overlapping of the letters 'A' and 'V' shows team bonding, where the white overlap indicates that together, we can make a difference.
